Arizona Rangelands

Beautiful, complex landscapes of grasslands or semi desert grasslands, shrublands, woodlands, mountain meadows and deserts. Arizona rangelands cover 85% of its lands or 62 million acres with diverse ownership: 42% federal, 27% tribal, 18% private, and 13% state. These ecosystems are critical for clean air and water, habitat for wildlife, recreation, renewable energy, and magnificent vistas.
