Body

The purpose of this paper is to investigate an optimization procedure for estimating the intensity of overstory reduction when the biological goal is to increase forage production and the economic goal is to maximize ranch profits. The procedure is based on the decision-maker's ability to accurately estimate production, cost, and benefit functions for specific range improvements.
