Body

Family businesses have characteristics contributing directly to the difficulty of transferring management to the next generation. Of particular interest are the characteristics which distinguish the management succession issues of family businesses
from those of non-family businesses. Most of these characteristics are related to human interactions among family members and their inability to isolate family issues from business issues.
