Indigenous people have a very important place in the management of Australia's rangelands and this is highlighted by the location of this conference in Alice Springs. Contributors to this session, including David Ross, Director of Central Land Council, as keynote speaker and a panel of Indigenous landmanagers will show some of the diversity of Indigenous peoples' management of rangelands and its significance.
