Body
The latest Conservation Biology contains a forum on the subject of sustainability. The first piece provokes the others by arguing that the term is too vague, outdated and unpalatable to serve as an effective basis for the conservation movement now. The authors propose substituting “land health†for sustainability. Several of the responses concur with parts of the analysis but dispute the conclusion that some other term is needed, or that land health is any better. (source introduction).
