There are 16 experiment stations of the Hawaii Agricultural Experiment Station, College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources , located throughout the State of Hawaii . Detailed soil survey maps of each site were prepared by the Honolulu-based Soil Survey Staff of the Soil Conservation Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture; then, soil samples were collected for each dominant soil series at each station and were analyzed in the laboratory at the University of Hawaii , Manoa Campus. This report is an inventory of the basic soil resources of these experiment stations. (author's abstract)
