The Avian Knowledge Network (AKN) provides a platform for data organization, sharing and coordination of standardized monitoring efforts, as well as data analysis and visualization tools. The AKN is composed of multiple nodes in different geographical areas. The network and its nodes provide a number of tools for data entry, sharing, and analysis. The AKN resources can be used by a variety of audiences for a number of purposes including, but not limited to, aiding in decisions about conservation actions, project siting, or just learning about bird status and occurrence.
