Body
A series of elementary trials was conducted to study the grazing capacity of the major plains areas in the Etosha National Park. The yield data were compared with rainfall and game census data. The results suggest that the Chudop?Twee Palms area is severely overgrazed and that Gemsbokvlakte, Charitsaubvlakte and Andonivlakte are usually overgrazed. Grootvlakte is not overgrazed during the rainy season.
