Dr. Noon arrived in Arizona in 1879 with his oldest son, looking for a place to settle. He eventually filed a for a homestead 7 miles south of Arivaca and moved the rest of the family to Arizona the following year in 1880. An active prospector as well as a medical doctor, Dr. Noon was an involved member of the community as was the rest of his family.
