This training is intended to encourage and enable willing contributors to play a major role in the ESD development effort. The training consists of three parts. Part I introduces the principles of collaboration and standards for ESD development, and the relationship between the two. Part II showcases examples of interagency and interdisciplinary collaboration and includes both oral presentations and a poster session. Part III outlines important considerations applicable to most collaborative ESD development projects. Participants should leave the training with knowledge about the collaboration process, standards of ESD development, and real examples to serve as models for future ESD collaboration projects.
