This poster presents the findings of a study that examined the relationship between perennial grass biomass and mesquite density on the Santa Rita Experimental Range in southern Arizona. The study found that, at the plot level, perennial grass biomass was not influenced by mequite cover. Grazing and ecological site, however, did influence perennial grass biomass.
