Body

Bastian et al. examined the possibilities of cattle and antelope use of public rangelands in the most effective way possible. The authors designed a production possibilities frontier that would match the highest number of antelope and cattle the 405 ha range could hold, based on the animals' average forage intake. The basis of the model was to find which combination would be economically most profitable for the livestock owner.
