Thirty-one soil sterilant herbicides were investigated for fire-break establishment in the Nebraska sand-hills. Diuron gave most effective vegetative control of all compounds tested. This material was digitized as part of a cooperative project between the Society for Range Management and the University of Arizona Libraries.
