Two similar meadows were compared to show how mowing date might affect composition, production, and vigor. Indications are that mowing date does not affect range condition or basal density, but does affect forb composition, forage production and plant vigor. This material was digitized as part of a cooperative project between the Society for Range Management and the University of Arizona Libraries.
