The Ocular point quadrat used in recording data by sighting through cross-haired holes instead of using pins was developed. The method reduces field work, and eliminate difficulties regarding using the pins as compared to the standard point quadrat frame. This material was digitized as part of a cooperative project between the Society for Range Management and the University of Arizona Libraries.
