A few soil, basal bark, and foliar-applied herbicides caused good control of small winged elm trees but many did not. However basal injection treatments appeared to be very promising. Undiluted injected herbicides were very successful. Picloram and 2,4,5-T generally gave the best results. This material was digitized as part of a cooperative project between the Society for Range Management and the University of Arizona Libraries.
