Bluebunch wheatgrass is particularly susceptible to defoliation injury during the boot stage. At this stage, grazing at ground-level for three or more consecutive years many result in almost complete disappearance of bluebunch wheatgrass from rangeland. This material was digitized as part of a cooperative project between the Society for Range Management and the University of Arizona Libraries.
