Twelve diluent treatments were compared for their effectiveness in preventing separation of small seed from dilution mixtures. Rice hulls in combination with methyl cellulose sticker was the best of the diluents tested. Simple, practical procedures for field use of this modified rice hull dilution method were developed. This material was digitized as part of a cooperative project between the Society for Range Management and the University of Arizona Libraries.
