Seeds of winterfat (Eurotia lanata) were planted at four depths in three soils held at five moisture levels. Emergence was best from the 1/16-inch depth, and when soil moisture was nearer field capacity than saturation. This material was digitized as part of a cooperative project between the Society for Range Management and the University of Arizona Libraries.
