A stocking table developed on an experimental range area in the Rio Puerco drainage can be used to determine stocking rates in animal units per section. Estimates are based on perennial grass forage production and utilization percentages and are applicable to a large portion of semidesert ranges in central New Mexico. This material was digitized as part of a cooperative project between the Society for Range Management and the University of Arizona Libraries.
