Application of 2 lb./acre of the herbicide diuron changes rangeland communities from medusahead to downy brome dominance. This conversion lasted for at least 3 years and greatly increased utilizable forage. This material was digitized as part of a cooperative project between the Society for Range Management and the University of Arizona Libraries.
