Continued need is predicted for livestock grazing from the nation's forests and ranges. However, more consideration must be given to desires of people for all the goods and services range provides. This is the new politics of range management and development. Program goals must consider enhancing the environment while planning more efficient use of the range for livestock production. This material was digitized as part of a cooperative project between the Society for Range Management and the University of Arizona Libraries.
