The response of spotted knapweed and perennial grass to 16 mowing treatments (combinations of spring, summer, fall and no mowing) at 2 sites over 3 years. Site 1 was south of Belgrade, MT (45° 47’ N; 111° 10’ W) and site 2 was southwest of Bozeman, MT (45° 36’ N; 111° 5’ W). Sites were mowed with the blade set at 10 cm above ground surface.
