A slanting deer fence is designed that requires less mesh wire and shorter posts than the standard upright deer fence. The slanting fence blends well into forest and meadow backgrounds and will withstand greater snow loads than existing slanting deer fences. This material was digitized as part of a cooperative project between the Society for Range Management and the University of Arizona Libraries.
