A simple method for transplanting native grasses from field to glasshouse with negligible mortality is suggested. The method has been used successfully in both Australia and in the United States and was far superior to other transplanting techniques. The method has also been used successfully with forbs and shrubs. This material was digitized as part of a cooperative project between the Society for Range Management and the University of Arizona Libraries.
