Management of the rangelands of the world for multiple use is a complicated process. Rangeland productivity can be increased by several means. However, some of these means have undesirable ecological consequences. There is a need for integration of range ecosystems management on a world-wide scale under an ecological framework. This material was digitized as part of a cooperative project between the Society for Range Management and the University of Arizona Libraries.
