The construction and use of an acrylic mapping table for obtaining basic demographic information from plant populations is described. The table permits accurate and precise location of mapping quadrats and study plants from acetate "maps." This material was digitized as part of a cooperative project between the Society for Range Management and the University of Arizona Libraries.
