This research was conducted because of concerns surrounding the fragmentation of Pronghorn habitat in the Big Chino Valley, Arizona. To promote the long-term viability of the resident pronghorn herd, the Arizona Game and Fish Department used GPS data collected from collared individuals to develop a pronghorn habitat map and to describe seasonal movements of the herd.
